North of Petershagen, on the border with Mecklenburg, at km 716, about 12 km west of the Odra.

AREA:

106,83 ha.

DESCRIPTION:

The area brought into being to protect the xerophile Central European Stipa steppic grasslands (Potentillo-Stipetum capillatae), a plant group of continental origin, in which the EC has been interested and is of an utmost importance. There are its westmost stations on the Odra.

HABITATS:

Xerophile Stipa steppic grasslands, thermophilous thickets and tall herb communities.

COMMENTS:
