On the moraine hills Silberberge by Gartz, at km 711, about 4 km off the Odra.

AREA:

49,76 ha.

DESCRIPTION:

The area cover by communities of steppic grasslands and pine forests with numerous rare species of flora and invertebrate fauna.

HABITATS:

Xerothermic steppic grasslands from alliances Koelerion glaucae and Cirsio-Brachypodion pinnati thermophilous pine forests (Diantho-Pinetum).

OTHER ANIMAL SPECIES:

A dozen of rare and valuable invertebrate species, among others: Bebix rostrata, Trachytes europaeus, Lythria purpurea, Mecyna flavalis, Mycolis cirrigella.

PLANTS (RB):

Stipa borystenica ssp. germanica, Dianthus gratianopolitanus, Melampyrum cristatum, Orobanche lutea, Scorzonera purpurea, Stachys annua.
