approximately 2 km south of Frankfurt nad Odra (along km 577-582).

AREA:

228,43 ha.

DESCRIPTION:

One of the biggests forested area in the Odra valley on the German side, covered mainly by riverine forests (alder, elm, ash), accompanied by small fragments of willow-poplar gallery forests and lime-sycamore slope forest and their regenerative stages (on the verge of the valley). Small fragments are managed for hay and grazed.

HABITATS:

lowland hay meadows (Alopecurus pratensis), slope forests (Tilio-Acerion), ash-alder forests, willow-poplar gallery forests and elm-ash forests.

COMMENTS:

Protection within "Eichwald und Buschmuhle", Naturschutzgebiet no. 1187).
