North of the Garz village, nearby Dorf Radekow, on the northern border of Bradenburgia, at km 720, 9 km west of the Odra valley.

AREA:

142, 23 ha.

DESCRIPTION:

The wetland area peatbogs in various development stages, from fens to raised bogs (fragments), along with the attendant of reeds and forest communities.

HABITATS:

reed beds and sedges (Phragmition, Magnocaricion), swamp alder woods and ash-alder forests, fragments (parts) of raised bog from the class of Oxycocco-Sphagnetea.

COMMENTS:

Protected as nature reserve ("Schwarzer Tanger", Naturschutzgebiet no 1488).
