LOCATION:

From Będów to Krosno Odrzańskie (along km 494-515).

AREA:

Approximately 4000 ha.

DESCRIPTION:

Complexes of floodplain meadows out of a compound of Alopecurion and the biggest in the Odra valley, complexes of extensively managed pastures, along the Zimna Woda channel. Almost 3 km² of willow-poplar gallery forests, and their regenerative stages on the wide Odra terrace within dikes, especially along km 494-500. Small part is covered by other plant communities.

HABITATS:

Elm-ash forests, willow-poplar gallery forests, swamp alder woods, lowland hay meadows (Alopecurus pratensis) and unfertilized grasslands with fluctuating water level (Molinion), reed communities,

BIRDS (NATURE):

Gallinago gallinago, Alcedo atthis, Milvus migrans.

FISH:

Misgurnus fossilis, (HD II), Barbus barbus (HD V), Chondrostoma nassus (KB III), Silurus glanis (KB III).

PLANTS:

Cnidium dubium (RB cat. V).
