LOCATION:

It includes the Odra valley near km 460, and spreads west of it.

AREA:

Approximately 700 ha.

DESCRIPTION:

The area in a wide Odra valley, mainly on the west side, limited by the villages: Przytoczki - Jary - Wielobłoto - Ledno, together with small fragments of the river terrace within dikes. There are mainly wetland habitats with high ground-water level,, connected with numerous watercourses, tributaries and drainage channelsin the Zimny Potok catchment. Whole area is Partly extensively managed.

HABITATS:

swamp alder woods, ash-alder forests, willow-poplar gallery forests Salici albae-Populetum - 44.132, and elm-ash forests Ficario-Ulmetum - 44.41, meander scolls (oxbow lakes), lowland hay meadows and sedges communities (Phragmitetea).

BIRDS (NATURE):

Milvus migrans, Dendrocopos medius.

FISH:

Misgurnus fossilis (HD II),

COMMENTS:

It demands further research.
