On the right bank of the Odra, along km 334-340, between Przyborów and Buszkowice.

AREA:

Approximately 200 ha.

DESCRIPTION:

The remnant of old Odra riverbed with reed communities, floodplain grasslands, hay meadows and sedges, also considerable fragments of swamp alder afforestation. Breeding area of a few precious species of waterfowl.

HABITATS:

Lowland hay meadows (Alopecurus pratensis), swamp alder woods, eutrophic tall herb fringes.

BIRDS (BD):

Alcedo atthis, Circus aeruginosus*, Grus grus, Botaurus stellaris**.

OTHER ANIMAL SPECIES:

Misgurnus fossilis (KB II)

PLANTS:

Trapa natans (KB I), Salvinia natans (KB I).

PROTECTED:

Hedera helix, Convallaria majalis, Numphar luteum, Nymphaea alba

PROTECTION STATUS:

Projected ecological ???ground??? and nature reserve "Przyborowski meander" for protection of Trapa natans locality.
